Wandering soul
Chapter one
Feels like rain
The sun is up, the sky is blue the grass is green. The day couldn’t get any perfect only… It’s April 3rd.
–phone rings-“hello?” she said. “Hey Einj” from the other line came speaking. “--eh you again, what now?” She said. “I’m out your house, wanna come with?”… She looks outside but sees nothing, another prank she assumed. “Yeah sure, you’re out my house, haha funny, come out Erick.” She said. “Ok, ok, I’m not there yet, but I’m going to pick you up.” He said. “Going where exactly?” she asked then moments of silence passed. “Hello? You still there?” more moments of silence, then she looked at her phone only to find out that her phone went bye-bye. “Great start.” She laughed.
There’s not much to do when you’re all alone in your life, you just sit silently in one corner waiting for strangers to spontaneously walk in your lives. “So where do you think were going?” Einj smiled petting Peachan. *meow* “Yes Peachan I know you’ll miss me, but it’s yearly tradition.” *bee-beep* “oh, he’s here, he’s early, don’t worry Peachan, I’ll bring you something.” Einj said rushing down the stairs straight out the door without locking anything.
“You’re LATE!” Erick complained. “No, no, you’re early.” Einj l said. “Did you bring the thing?!” he said. “What thing are you talking about?!” she said. “The thing I told you to bring!!!” he said “You didn’t tell me to bring anything.” She said. “We bring that thing yearly!” he said
------Continuously arguing------
“They never stop fighting” said a hooded spectator watching not very far from them. “That’s why they’re perfect for each other, don’t you think?” another spectator said.

“OK fine, were just gonna buy the thing along the way.” Einj said. “It won’t be the same like that.” HE said. “ok, I’m sorry.” Einj said, it’s pointless really, angel doesn’t see the point in it.
Then awkward silence filled the car. “Well that’s that then, let’s go?” Erick smiled. The whole ride was filled with meaningless music and shallow small talks.
It was like that yearly, but it seemed a bit different this year since one person is missing. “so… How’s her mom after the--” Einj tried opening up the topic but. “She’s well…” he replied, “Still bitter huh?” she asked. Then no reply followed, conversation ended. No, it was just too personal I guess. “You see, she’s not talking to me, or to anyone, it’s like she became mute, after…” Erick said, it was yet another awkward moment, when all of the sudden, “look!? MACDONALDS!” Einj pointed, Angel was all smiles, and Erick’s eyes couldn’t have gotten any bigger, “You’re hungry?!” Erick teased. “No I’m not.” She replied looking all guilty. “I know you, you’re stomach must be killing you right now, I bet you’d want 4 servings right now. Hahaha” Erick said as his stomach growled, Angel was laughing out loud because of him, and Erick just kept on staring in dismay but then just laughed afterwards. “Okay then, let’s just go stop here.” Erick smiled, and so they ate at McDonalds.
Moments later the sun faded away and the sky turned grey. “Hey Erick.” Einj said staring up. “I know… looks to me like it’s going to rain.” He said. Then rain drops fell, “Feel it, it could be good for you.” Angel smiled, Erick began walking under the sky falling from it rain, “Join me…” Erick smiled. Einj smiled back. And maybe, just maybe, miracles do happen in a hot summer day when it rains.
Chapter two
Countless tears
*Aaaachoooo* Erick feeling all lame and loser like, “I told you to feel it silly, I didn’t tell you to go all the way. Haha” Einj lectured him teasingly. “I still blame you.” Erick mumbled. “Did you say something?!” Einj said looking all evil. “No, no, hold the wheels. Look at the road.” He said all defensive and manly. “Haha, don’t worry I’m a part time drag racer, I’m a way better driver than you are. Wahahahahaha!” Einj bragged. “Grab the wheel!!!” Erick yelled. “Sheesh, don’t get all bossy just because of your stupidity.” Einj complained. “That’s it, I’m driving.” He said, receiving a very welcoming (very light) punch on the face. “Don’t even think about it rain boy.” She said very evil like, with her matching evil smile and laugh. Then after that Erick went out like a light Einj Driving all the way to their next stop.
Hours later in a book store. “What? It’s out of stock?” Erick complained. “Yes sir, our last copy was sold to that lady walking out the door just now.” The clerk said. “Where?!” Erick searched, “Sorry sir, it seems like you missed her.” The Clerk said. “GAAA!” Erick Grabbed the Clerk, “You’re not doing your job, are you sure that it’s the last copy you have?! Huh?!” Erick said very angrily violently accusing the clerk. “Erick!!!” Einj said. “Stop it, put him down.” Erick just placed the clerk down and walked out the door.
Moments later Einj went out walking towards Erick. Einj was faced down close fisted and silent. “look…” Erick tried, “You, you don’t talk.” Angel said. “I was…” Erick was shocked because Angel slapped him, “Who do you think you are?! You had no right to hurt that guy.” Einj said still not showing any emotions, just blank emptiness of nothing speaking words she never thought she could. “I… I…” Erick was still shocked and amazed both at the same time Einj was always the happy go lucky go with the flow happy-happy girl he knew, but this girl, this Angel he didn’t know, it was like she’s someone completely different, someone like…
“The book.. I need the book, It’s tradition. It’s her…” Erick explained. “ TRADITION! ” Einj yelled. “There’s no more tradition Rick… it ended when she died. It’s not the same.” Einj explained, and then broke down to tears. Erick was surprised, and concerned at the same time, Einj is someone that never cries. “Einj…” Erick tried helping Einj up, but she shoved him. “I don’t need your help, don’t feel all guilty about her death just because you were with her for the last moment of her life. It wasn’t your fault, we all couldn’t have done anything, she would have still saved that drowning kid. She died for something, so don’t go think that this would make her happy.” Angel said throwing the book at Erick. “I’m going home. Don’t worry, I’ll make it home.” Einj said still crying walking away fading away into the evening dusk. “Einj…” Erick was still shocked in disbelief that Einj cried in-front of him. I guess it was all the countless tears she always kept inside of her.
Chapter three
Lost memory
“EVIE EVIE!!” a kid said jumping and bouncing round and round. “Call me Eve, Yume.” She said. “Why are we still watching her?” Yume asked. “We should, she’s awfully unhappy today.” She replied. “Yume sad too, could Evie smile for Yume?” she requested. “haha, of course I can.” She smiled, “But I am really worried about Einji today, she doesn’t seem to have the same spark she usually has, what more if she finds out that Peachan..” she was interrupted. “Evie, we have company!!!” Yume alerted her. “Neichi, let’s go.” Evie said jumping away from the top of the bus then disappeared.
It’s an awfully long emotional bus ride on the way back home for Angel, teary eyed and lost as she dreamt a memory that was once hers, the first time they all really met.

One windy afternoon near the lake of Belleview Village, a girl was crying. “Stop it, don’t fight anymore.” She cried. “I have to, they wont stop hurting you if I don’t.” a little boy said in return. “She’s right boy, you should just go run for mommy now. Hahaha” a bully said. “I’ll never back out with the likes of you; you should never make a girl cry just because she owes you money.” He yelled. At that moment Einj was on her way home from her afternoon class, her brother left her unintentionally but she knew how to go home by her self. “I’ll never give up until you leave us alone.” Rick said. Einj was concerned seeing Rick as a kid all bruised and mad, and a little girl that wouldn’t stop crying.
“Get out of my way kid!” the bully said punching the life out of young Rick. “Stop it… It’s ok Rick, just don’t fight for me anymore.” She said. “I can’t let him take you again. I cant, I just can’t.” Rick said then cried and just continued crying. “Haha, all that just to cry in the end, pathetic.” The bully said, attempting to kick Rick away but Einj came and she was the one who got kicked. “What the?!” the bully was shocked. “Hey kid, move if you don’t wanna get hurt, I’m older than you, I’m scary, aren’t you afraid of me?” The Bully said still shocked at Einj. “Idiot!!!” Einj said out loud and all of them were stunned. “What?!” the bully slowly replied. “Who would be afraid of a coward like you? If you want money, I’ll give you money; just don’t ever show your ugly face to us again.” Einj said with much courage in her. The bully all of the sudden stepped back in fear of something really scary. “I…. I…. I have to go.” The bully said running away. Both Rick and the little girl were both amazed at Einj. “Hi I am Einj, we just moved here.” Einj said all smiling and perky. “Then all of the sudden a dark shadowy figure went near them…then…

Einj woke up. “Another dream…Weird, it seemed so real, that’s not what happened back then, I clearly remember me begging for mercy and giving all the money I have.” Einj wondered. “Belleview village.” She read from a sign on the high way. “I guess I’m home…” Einj sighted. “I guess I’m not as courageous as the one in my dream, I’ll never be like her, like Vanessa.” Einj said wiping a tear drop.
Chapter four
Peachan-Peachan
“Were not going home yet?” Yume asked. “Not yet, earlier I sensed the she remembered something.” Evie said. “Why? Is it bad if she remembers something?” Yume asked. “No, not really, but it’s our job to protect her until the right time comes.” Evie replied. “She’ll find out anyway, why can’t we just let her remember? I mean, it’s her memory, doesn’t she hold a right to it or something?” Yume said. “We’ll be exiled into No where, and be erased forever, like the memories she shouldn’t have, but recently, she’s been dreaming about them, that’s why were still here” Evie explained. “I’m bored. She’s just walking round and round.” Yume said. “shhhh. Be patient, Yume.” Evie said.
- Einj walking home
*ring ring* “It’s him again, should I pick up?” Einj l asked her self. “I wonder if I’m ever gonna be as strong as the me I dreamt about.” Einj said again bursting into tears. “I… I am… weak, I cant even cry without accepting it, I feel so numb and powerless. I can’t protect anyone, even Rick, Rick just loved her so much, and I hurt him with words… What was I thinking?” Einj thought all the way until she reached her front door.
As she was standing out of her house, she was shocked seeing everything all trashed and gone. “My… My house…” Einj said to her self as she recalled not locking the front door. Einj was very depressed as she remembered her precious Peachan and quickly run inside. “Peachan!!! PEACHAN!?” She yelled and yelled and found no response. She began crying again sulking in one corner but thinking positively and slowly smiling. “She’ll be back; maybe she just went out, she’ll never run away, she’s my Peachan.” Einj said, smiling a bit now, remembering the moment Peachan came into her life.

“Ricooooo!” Einj yelled jumping and skipping behind Rick. Rick was really-really shocked seeing Einj just behind him. “Don’t ever do that again kiddo!!!” Rick complained. “Did I scare you?” Einj asked smiling all evil like, “You don’t scare me, you’re a girl.” Rick bragged. “What are you doing with that stick?” Einj asked. “It’s none of your business, girl, sticks are for boys to play with, so bug off.” Rick said, then all of the sudden a scratching sound came from underneath Rick’s Patio. “eeekkk” Erick was all scared so he kept on hitting the patio with his all mighty stick. “HAHA! That should deal with you monster!” Rick said with all might. “Rick stop…” Einj said now searching form behind enemy lines. “-eek- What are you doing there, get out of there, I’ll save you, don’t go near it, it would eat you.” Rick said pulling Einj out. “Rick let go of me, I’m fine down here.” She replied as Rick fell down the floor still scared and shocked in disbelief. “See, there’s no monster down your patio, it’s just a kitten.” Einj laughed. “A what?” Rick asked regretfully. “Come on hold her.” Angel offered. “I don’t want to.” Rick refused. “Come on, you know you want to.” Einj said. “I don’t want to, get away from me.” Rick said and run away, and so Einj followed. That’s how Peachan came to their lives.

*sob sob* “I really miss my Peachan.” She said, seeing Peachan’s tail. “PEACHAN!” Einj panicked rushing over to get Peachan. “Peachan…” Angel held onto her cat and didn’t let go for a long time… “Peachan breathing would be a good sign of life…” Angel joked. “Peachan… you’re not breathing, why aren’t you breathing.” Einj sobbed. “Peachan, you cant die, you’re immortal.” She kept on crying, until from behind her familiar arms held her keeping her away from Peachan’s dead body. “Things will be okay, she’s Peachan, remember? She’ll find a good place, like she found you.” Rick whispered.

“Why wont you keep her or touch her even? She’s yours right?” Einj asked. “I can’t keep her, I hate cats, and besides, I don’t do, tiny, cute and furry. You can keep her if you want.” Rick said. “I can’t, she wants to be with you.” Einj said. “Fine leave her here, I don’t care.” Rick said then noticed Angel petting Peachan “Don’t worry Peachan, I’ll bring you food here everyday since your master doesn’t care about you.” Einj said.
When it rained she gave Peachan shelter even if she doesn’t officially own her, when Peachan seeks love, she gave her love until Einj fell ill, and Peachan came to missing her, so she looked for Einj and they’ve been together ever since.

“She found you, that’s not really a bad thing, is it?” Rick said. “Because of me she died.” Einj said. “Because of you she lived.” Erick exclaimed. “I saw you giving her food and shelter at my house; my father wouldn’t allow his son to do such martyr deeds, so I couldn’t do anything about Peachan.” Rick confessed. “Rick…” Einj wondered. “He just wouldn’t… Cause I’m a guy, and he wouldn’t want a soft son, sorry about earlier.” Rick said. Just after that they sat silently at the floor since Einj’s house was robbed.
Chapter five
Meeka Seraphim
They were still sitting there at the same silent dark emptiness of Einj’s living room. “I never got to thank you…” Einj suddenly said. “uhh, for what?” Rick asked. “Just accept it while it lasts.” Angel said looking down playing with her shoe laces. Erick just smiled and said “So thank you has expiration dates now. Hahaha, Vanessa would have loved that.” he said, then all of the sudden both of them fell silent again, Einj was shocked cause for a whole year he never mentioned Vanessa, this was the first time that Rick opened a topic mentioning her, Vanessa, Einj all of the suddenly smiled and pulled Rick’s right cheek. “YOU JUST MENTIONED HER NAME!!!” Einj said very happily. “uhhh… let go of it, it will break!!” Rick pulled away in anguish. “HAHA, you said her name! Finally, you’re out of your bondage, you’re finally a beautiful butterfly.” Angel kept on pulling Rick’s cheeks. “Gosh, you’re happy already, your cat just died.” Rick complained fighting back, “Haha, Rick just said your name, isn’t that great to hear? Hahaha...” Einj smiled full smiles.
“How weird can she get EVIE-EVIE!” Yume said. “She’s happy all of the sudden, thanks to Rick, she’s spared of another lost memory…” Evie said. “Evie-Evie, can we go home now?” Yume asked. “Not yet, were still gonna stay a little longer.” Evie replied.
“Nyaaaa… my face is so numb, no thanks to you.” Rick complained. “I wonder what my brother will say if he finds out I’m robbed.” Einj said to her self. “What ever will he do if he remembers you’ve been robed five times straight in 3 months...” Rick teased. Then dark energy of some sort of filled the room, “You wouldn’t!!” Einj said with her evil face. “You know what for a girl named Angel you’re not really that Angelic.” Rick Teased even more. “ehhh, take that back or you’ll regret ever being born.” Einj said. “What ever would he do if I told him you threw a book at me…” Rick teased. “That’s it, you’re dead!” Einj chased Rick inside her empty crappy trashed up apartment. “Slow poke, slow poke!!!” Rick teased. “Come back here you little RAT!” Einj kept on chasing him.

“Hahaha, they’re so funny.” Yume said, as Evie felt something different. “YUME! LOOK!” Evie pointed.

Suddenly Rick and Einj stopped, seeing a big bright round glowing light. “What’s this?” Rick asked, “I dunno, don’t touch it.” Einj said, then all of the sudden it disappeared. “Well that was weird…” Rick said. *meow* of all sounds to hear, it was the most unexpected. “Peachan?” Both Rick and Einj asked each other, as they went near Peachan; they saw the bright light surrounding her. “What’s happening?” Rick asked. “Peachan!!!” Einj yelled going near the light and Peachan. “Einj, don’t, don’t go near it, it’s dangerous.” Rick said. “I cant, I must, I won’t let Peachan go this time.” Einj said. “I won’t let you go alone, I’ll go with you.” Rick said, holding Einj helping her go near the light. “Rick…” Einj wondered once more. “let’s go!” Rick said.
Evie all of the sudden went inside rushing, hoping she’s not too late, “Einji!!!” she yelled, “Don’t do it!” she exclaimed, Einj was still shocked hearing a hooded girl call her name and warning her. “Am I supposed to know you?” Einj asked finding something comforting about the hooded girl. “I have no time to explain, forgive me your highness.” Evie bowed down, Rick was unconvinced “Highness?!” he asked with a teasing face, “Quit teasing me, I dunno what she’s talking about!” Einj replied. “What you’re seeing now is forbidden magic cast by Neichi an escape convict from Geneva, if you go near it, you’ll disappear, please try to understand.” Evie said as Einj smiled to her request. “I thank you, but I refuse to follow your request. What you see there is Peachan, my Peachan, I won’t let her disappear like you just proved she would if I don’t get her.” Einj smiled and pushed Rick away, near Evie, “Don’t let him interfere with me, sorry Rick.” Einj said., “Who do you think you are to push me around!!!” Rick complained.
“Einji…” Evie thought. “Wait, wait, wait, don’t I get a say in this?! And Princess?? Am I dreaming?” Rick asked very demandingly threatening both Yume and Evie. “No! you never get a say in princess’s doings.” Yume said smiling. “What do you mean by that?!” Rick asked. “This!” Yume hit Rick with the amnesia staff. “He always was a cute one, but he can’t do anything about it, he’s too weak to meddle.” Yume sights, “Yume, she’s almost there.” Evie said. “Silly human like emotions, I don’t get them, it’s just an animal.” Yume complained. “Yume, from where we came from, animals don’t die, that’s why you don’t give importance to them.” Evie explained. “You speak like you’ve lost something dear to you EVIE-EVIE!!!” Yume smiled, Evie just watched silent concerned about Einj.
“Please, what ever or who ever you are, don’t take my Peachan away.” Angel said out loud, “I beg of you, don’t take her away.” She cried. “Don’t take her away.” She cried out.
“EVIE! Do you feel that?” Yume sensed. “What is it Yume?” Evie said. “It’s a different Meeka I sense. A dangerous meeka I sense, a dangerous dark meeka I sense.” Yume said, all of the sudden Evie felt it and knelt down. “Is this Einji’s Mika?” Evie said in disbelief, “Neichi what are you planning to do?.” Evie thought.
Suddenly sound could be seen and felt, time could be moved and tampered with, thoughts read and light measured. “What is this?” Einj asked. “You wanted power didn’t you?” something said. “Yes.” Einj replied. “say it…” … “say what?” … “You know what to say..” …“seraphim”
